Today is my birthday and I decided to start it with a boot camp demo at the gym. I was proud of my decision, instead of using it to sleep or be lazy..... It was pretty awesome although I think I might have retweaked my foot again. Hopefully *prays* it is nothing. I am seeing my PCP in a week so if it has progressed she can order an xray or something. I'm a little sore right now, but nothing major.
I met with the dietician at the gym after the session and discussed my weight/food issues and goals and it was great meeting her and I hope to get some tips I can use and depending on income set up another appt. I will continue to record my food intake and make sure I eat more than 1200 calories when exercising.
After hot tubbing it and showering and getting dressed, I grabbed a smoothie at the gym after b/c I needed a boost (and this one had coffee) and headed home to get ready for my day.
I got dressed, dried my hair, and put on makeup and headed to Natick Collection to browse and shop. The best thing I got was a headband at lululemon. I MUST HAVE MORE. It is adjustable and slipfree. I have a small head and I can never find head bands that fit. I didn't care it was 14 dollars. I can't wait to try it out at the gym tomorrow.
I went home after my shopping trip (did I mention the dress I got at NY& CO was a M????) Granted it ran huge, but it made me feel good. Of course their button down shirts still don't fit over my chest. :(
Anyways food log
calories do not count on your birthday, right? ;)
breakfast:
protein shake
after workout:
coffee protein shake,no idea what cal content was but it was a nice bday treat
lunch: (I was starving)
1 veggie slice pizza at Sbarro
water
snack:
1 mini Nestle crunch bar -Halloween sized
a few fries off my nieces plate (this is why I don't go home, I snack)
dinner:
salad w/ splash of Italian dressing
1 piece of salmon, I'd say 4 oz? grilled on the Foreman grill
1 medium sized sweet potato
a few stalks of asparagus (had to make sure everyone had some LOL)
ice cream cake (and I only had one piece, and I didn't take it home) go me!
I did drink too much diet coke at home though. I have been trying to avoid soda unless I had a major craving for it but failed there. I did drink a bottle of water for each soda though.
Maybe too many calories today, but it's all good. Birthdays are only once a year.
